The Auld Dubliner Squaw Valley

The Auld Dubliner Restaurant Group was started in 2005, when Carolyn Nunn opened the Auld Dubliner Irish Pub in The Village at Squaw Valley. Randy Rogers became one of the first employees and tended bar before he became the general manager 10 years ago, and then in 2016, Randy became a partner in the ownership group. Rachel Graf-McCabe has been the bar manager and floor manager at ‘The Dub’ for several years, and is the third partner in the ownership group at both restaurants.

How We Named Our New Restaurant

The Tahoe locals on Facebook gave plenty of name suggestions to choose from and deciding on a name was not an easy decision. The partners all originally liked the name “Tres Amigos” because “we’re basically three great friends opening a restaurant together, and we decided to shorten the name to Tremigo,” said Carolyn Nunn.

Tremigo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar features a family friendly authentic Mexican menu created by our experienced chefs Antonio Abundiz, who is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. The traditional menu will has combination platters, fajitas and tacos. Vegetarian and specialty items are featured; including housemade Molcajete which is what Tremigo has become known for.

Our taco boards are a great option to share four tacos of your choosing with the group. Tremigo will be using non - GMO corn from the Sacramento Valley for all tortillas & chips and will be using locally sourced products when possible.

Tremigo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar is located in The Village at Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley), including the former Mamasake sushi space in addition to the former Squaw Valley Outfitters store next door, which doubled the amount of tables with capacity up to 150 people.  After a major remodel from local contractor BC Construction, the interior design will be “eclectic, industrial Mexican” with works by local artist Rory Canfield, who has created unique and original art that will be hanging on the walls of the new space. The extra room will allow for private events, conference meetings and wedding parties. Contact us about our private dining area with a projection screen, surround sound and free wifi.

The Tremigo menu has 10 beers on tap, a great selection of bottled beers, freshly made margaritas and Californian wines. The beer menu will be focused on Mexican cervezas, local craft beers and IPAs. We look forward to sharing our incredible selection of high-end craft tequilas and mezcals, and an extensive margarita menu in due time.
